Why Become a Vegetarian, Healthy Living, Natural Detox

This is a question we all ask ourselves at one point in our life. Some people feel no sorrow for animals that are raised for food, and that is fine, as everyone has their own opinion. However, it has been proven that a diet without meat is a healthier diet than that which includes meat. In this section we will cover different reasons why people become vegetarians and why taking this step can add more positive energy to your life, and make you feel better than you have ever felt.

Many people become vegetarians because of the way farms are raising animals for food: injecting antibiotics for faster growth, living in cages, never seeing day light, and feeding animals corn, antibiotic laced soy,  animal by-products, and other unnatural foods. Animals were not put in this earth to live this way. Many of you have probably seen an online video or two about how animals are being treated and it made you say, "Im done eating meat and becoming a vegetarian". We all love animals and hope they get a chance at life like we do, unfortunately we live in a world were greed has over-powered ethics. This is a strong reason for becoming a vegetarian, and is great start mentally on your journey to enjoying a meat free diet.

Other people want to become vegetarians because they want a healthier diet, their cholesterol is up, they are overweight, or they just want to feel better everyday. Most meat products are saturated with fat, cholesterol, and loads of calories. Consuming meat daily can lead to many different types of health problems, from heart attacks to clogged arteries. Choosing a meat free diet can really turn your health around, from lowering your cholesterol to making you look leaner to giving you more energy so you can enjoy your life. There have been many geniuses in this world that were vegetarian: Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Henry Ford, and many more. A balanced vegetarian diet can lead to a more open mind, which makes this reason to become a vegetarian, a great one.

Another great reason for choosing a Vegetarian diet, is the impact that a meat based diet has on our earth. With all the talk of "Global Warming", many people are choosing to go Veg so they can do their part in helping out our earth. Some people want to become a vegetarian to try something new in their life. For most of us, we believe we only get one chance at this life and we want to have full control over it. We believe we can accomplish anything we want in our life, whether it be owning a multi-million dollar company, driving a Ferrari or being a rock star. We just want to break the cycle and try something different to see what it can do for us (by Amoakohene at dresshead 2015). Becoming a vegetarian is a great way to find a new you, to see how a healthier diet can make you feel great and let you know you can accomplish anything in your life.

There are many reasons why you should become a vegetarian, but in the end its you, who has to decide which reason is right for you. You have to try and realize what a vegetarian diet will do for you in your life and how you can accomplish it, as it will help you in having a life-long vegetarian commitment. One thing is for sure, becoming a vegetarian will not only make you feel better everyday and add many more years to your life, but it will let you know that you are not a follower, you are a leader, and you can conquer anything this world throws at you.

Once you start a vegetarian diet, you’ll want to extend this healthy living attitude to other areas of your life.
